- Associate workers are recognized well trained and developed employees as their bench mark and give additional respect to them.

- Trained employees increase the productivity and performance. They are confident in their ability and get the work done more efficiently and effectively.
- Trained employees work together with similar standards. This leads constant performance without any setbacks.
- Trained employees need little or no supervision in their work, they are self-motivated and know what they do, therefore excessive supervision is not necessary.
- When employees are trained, they will learn how to use the materials, tools and equipment correctly, safely and economically. Accidents and equipment damage will be minimized. This will keep the wastage down.
- Trained and educated workers boost the organization performance and productivity, therefore with the same numbers of employees organization can make extra income. Increasing profit which leads to expanding the business.

Since we are in 21st century, employees are more knowledgeable than previous era. Also, they are hungers to learn. Spend on training and development will be an employees attraction tool. Nicely explained.

But before providing training management should evaluate their work force to find out the lacking skills or knowledge of that group. According to the gap analysis, management can decide the objectives, target group and method of the training plan.

There is sufficient evidence that training leads to both individual and organizational outcomes (Tharenou et al., 2007). According to Kate (2018), There are several theories which put emphasis on importance of training and development in the work place.

Training and development concept is one of the main function of HR department. Training refers to a systematic setup where employees are instructed and taught matters of technical knowledge related to their jobs. The process of development is in relation to insights, attitudes, adaptability, leadership and human relations. Well combine training and development methods helps to the team members to do their duties in a better way.
